PULL TESTING
KEY FEATURES OF PULL TESTING
Via a hydraulic load cell, it can measure the load applied to a fixing using a mechanical screw arrangement.
Pull testing is instrumental in determining the right anchor for your project.
The vast majority of proprietary fixing types can be tested to either a given load or to failure load.
WHAT IS PULL TESTING?
Pull testing is an essential on-site requirement to test the load-bearing capacities of anchor bolts and to determine the safety and reliability of an anchor.
Pull tests are designed to find the resistance of the base materials you are working with – so you can determine the right anchor for your project. Whether the material is concrete, terracotta, hollow brick or any other substrate pull tests are the best way to test your anchors to failure.

HOW DOES PULL TESTING WORK?
At Mohan Building Services, we utilise the very latest technology and the experience and expertise of our talented team to provide a quick and accurate analysis of the problem.
Providing a mechanical method to quickly expand a sample size and detail whether you have a freak breakage or a more serious problem with the design or materials, stress load testing is often called for when anchor bolt problems are reported.
Applying the same stress loads to a range of different anchor bolts, we can help to quickly identify the problem and find the most suitable solution. Similarly, we can apply the same techniques when carrying out Shear Testing too.
