CONCRETE CHASING

KEY FEATURES OF CONCRETE CHASING

Concrete Chasing 4

Wall Chasing creates clean-cut lines, suitable for cables and plumbing pipework. Keeping them out of sight.

Concrete Chasing is virtually dust free due to the dust extraction system attached to the machine. So it is safe to use in confined spaces.

The machine creates minimal noise or vibration, making it a great solution for occupied buildings.

WHAT IS CONCRETE CHASING?

Floor chasing involves forming chases in floor slabs.

For increased productivity and for larger, deeper, channels & recesses floor sawing equipment is utilised. Dust creation can be minimised where required and we can provide diesel or electrically powered equipment.

Wall Chasing is where handheld equipment is used to which diamond blades are mounted. Blades are selected specifically to suit whichever material is being cut.

Parallel cuts are made and the centre of the channel is removed using lightweight breakers. Dust extraction equipment can be used where specified which virtually eliminates dust creation.

HOW DOES CONCRETE CHASING WORK?

Concrete chasing is most commonly used on walls, floors to create chases for cables or pipes to run through. This method can be used on various materials such as reinforced concrete along with brick, asphalt and others.

Instead of hand-held tools, diamond floor saws can be used if deeper chases are required, or if the concrete is too hard for the hand-held grinders to achieve.
This method results in clean and accurate channels for pipework and cables.
