DIAMOND DRILLING

Diamond drilling is the most efficient method of forming holes and openings in a multitude of hard building materials including reinforced concrete, brickwork and natural stone.

DIAMOND SAWING

Typically used to cut horizontal flat surfaces such as concrete slabs, roads, bridge decks and car parks to facilitate the removal of structural sections or to form expansion joints. Floor saws are self propelled.

CONTROLLED DEMOLITION

Hand held equipment is used to which diamond blades are mounted. Blades are selected specifically to suit whichever material is being cut. Parallel cuts are made and the centre of the channel is removed using lightweight breakers.

ROBOTIC DEMOLITION

Brokks are track mounted, remote controlled demolition machines that have changed the way many demolition projects are now undertaken. Their small size and great strength is the combination that makes our fleet of Brokk machines the ideal solution for the most demanding demolition tasks.

SOFT STRIP DEMOLITION

Mohan Building Services have carried out a large number of soft strip sub-contracts for our clients, we can remove everything installed in a building to get it back to its basic structure. As well as the usual removal of floor finishes, suspended ceilings, doors and frames, skirtings and partitions.

FERROSCANNING

A Ferroscan survey detects the presence and position of rebar within a reinforced concrete element. It can also tell bar diameters, spacing and concrete cover and is effective up to a depth of 140mm.

PULL TESTING

The pull tester is regularly calibrated and personnel fully trained in its use. A wide range of fixings can be tested. Fixings can be tested to a given load value which can also be applied over a given period of time, all depending on your specification.

FIRE STOPPING

A firestop or fire-stopping is a form of passive fire protection that is used to seal around openings and between joints in a fire-resistance-rated wall or floor assembly. They are designed to maintain the fire-resistance rating of a wall or floor assembly intended to impede the spread of fire and smoke.

HEALTH & SAFETY

In accordance with its duty under Section 2(3) of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act, 1974, and in fulfilling its obligations to both employees and the public who may be affected by its activities, the Managing Director of Mohan Building Services Ltd has produced the following statement of policy in respect of health and safety.

It is our aim to achieve a working environment that is free of work-related accidents and ill-health and to this end, we will pursue continuing improvements from year to year.

The main objectives of our Policy are to achieve a zero accident count by preventing accidents, comply with current legislation, maintain a sound reputation for Health and Safety and fulfil the needs of our training plan. We also have the support of an external Health & Safety advisor to ensure best practices.

Our health and safety policy will be reviewed annually to monitor its effectiveness and to ensure that it reflects changing needs and circumstances.
